1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup butter, room temp.
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, grated
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. milk
3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl with an electric mixer, combine flour, butter, sugar, chocolate, mix till resembles course crumbs. Add vanilla, milk, and walnuts if desired. Mix till a dough forms. If its dry add a small amount of milk, a few drops at a time. Dough should be soft, but not sticky. Press into a 9″ pie plate, crimp the edges. Press a 12″ square of foil snugly against the crust and bake for 8 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes. Crust should be dry and crisp. Cool completely before adding desired filling.
