Classic Hot Dog Sauce

Try this instead of the usual chili.

1 lg. chopped onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 lb. ground beef
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 Tbsp. lemon juice or vinegar
1 lg. can tomato sauce
1 cup catsup or chili sauce
4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tsp. hot sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. mustard

Saute onion, garlic and beef until cooked; add remaining ingredients.
Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Serve warm on hot dogs. store leftovers in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 5 days.
