Marinated Flank Steak

Works for other steaks as well.

1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup vegetable oil
4 tablespoons honey
1 can beef consomme soup, undiluted
1/3 cup lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced (original recipe says “1 small clove” but nobody needs that sadness in their life)
1 medium onion, chopped
3 – 4 pound steak

Combine ingredients in a large ziplock bag or shallow dish and marinate for at least 24 hours, turning frequently.

Broil 2-3 minutes each side. Slice very thinly against the grain.
