Air Fryer Honey Garlic Coconut Shrimp

Quick, easy, and really tasty.


Shrimp

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 cup shredded coconut

2 tsp seasoning of your choice (Cajun, Old Bay, Za'tar, whatever)


Honey Garlic Sauce

1 stick butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup honey

Set air fryer for 400 degrees


Combine breadcrumbs, seasoning, and coconut

Dip shrimp into eggs and then roll in breadcrumb mixture. Repeat several times to build a thick coating.

Cook in single layer for 10 - 15 minutes until crispy. Do not flip as the breading could fall off.


Make Honey Garlic Sauce

In a pan over medium heat melt the butter and add garlic. Cook gently for about 3 minutes and then add soy sauce and honey. Simmer for around 5 minutes and make sure it doesn't burn.


Pour sauce over shrimp.
