3 - 4 lbs London Broil (Top Round)
4 - 6 tablespoons oil
4 - 6 tablespoons soy sauce
4 - 6 tablespoons lemon juice
1 medium onion, chopped small
Score the beef lightly in a crosshatch pattern to allow the marinade to sink in.
Place in either a shallow dish or a gallon size ziplock bag.
Whisk marinade ingredients together and pour over steak.
Marinate for at least 24 hour in the refrigerator. Turning several times. Take out steak and let rest at room temperature for at least a half hour before grilling. Pour the marinade into a small saucepan with a tablespoon of butter and simmer until it gets a bit thick and turns into a sauce.
Grill on on medium heat for 10 minutes per side. Check temp after 15 minutes and cook until the internal temp is around 120F for medium rare.
Once it is cooked to your taste, remove the steak and let it sit for 10 minutes, covered with foil, to rest and then slice thinly across the grain. Serve with the marinade/sauce.
